Original pirate material
Article Abstract:
BBC started airing Newsnight podcasts on a trial basis in 2004, repackaging output into a portable format, and is planning to release more podcasts such as Radio 5 Live football podcast. The "podcast trial" has become widespread and it seems as though BBC has started a pirate radio station featuring original, non-aired material that is unregulated. BBC's programming strategies in podcasts are criticized.
