The UK Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television is pressuring the BBC to come up with new, fair rules for independent production companies to present their materials to the company. PACT has threatened to sue if the new system is anti-competitive. The old system, the Independent Commissioning Group, is now missed even by those who opposed it.
