Plenty of questions over trust - but a few answers
Article Abstract:
The central theme for the 2007 Edinburgh Television Festival was trust in TV, but the sessions held in the event failed to give solutions to the viewer confidence crisis. The issue came about after the controversy of ITV Play's phone competition, and keynote speakers such as BBC's Jeremy Paxman dissected the concept morality in the UK television industry. A discussion of the key topics discussed in the event is provided.

Factual VoD growth stalled by red tape
Article Abstract:
The growth of factual-content video on demand is slowed by red tape on digital rights and broadcasters' protectionist attitudes toward their content. UK viewers of FirstScience.tv, a website hosting science videos, can access only half of the titles on the site while US viewers can see more than two-thirds of them.
