Thompson: profits just part of C4 goal

Mark Thompson the chief executive of Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, said that profits were just part of what the channel hoped to achieve in the future. Channel 4 posted 16.5 million pounds in 2002 profits after posting losses in 2001. Thompson wants "creative renewal" in parts of the channel's programming.
