Jean MacCurdy is the president of Warner Bros. Television Animation and president for programming for Kids' WB!. Many in the animation industry admire her passion for animation, which began in 1974 when she worked in NBC's children's programming department. MacCurdy is aware of the cultural concerns over the global reach of US animation, although she believes that programming diversity is higher than it has ever been.

The total international sales of the UK distribution sector was registered at 608 million pounds in 2007 compared to 497 million pounds in 2006, and 2007 domestic sales also increased by 50 million pounds. The US television market is still the most profitable international territory, although the UK is considered the top sales territory. The international operations of the UK distribution sector is discussed.
