The UK's top independent television program production company in 2003 was Endemol UK, with 6,659.5 hours of its output being aired. Key shows were Big Brother; Changing Rooms; Fame Academy and Ready Steady Cook. Rounding out the top five were The Television Corporation (2,300 hours), TWI (1,441 hours), The Jim Henson Company (787 hours) and Carnival (703.5 hours). Table ranks the top 150 companies and includes information on percentage of programming hours that were new commissions, turnover in pounds sterling, number of full-time staff and key shows.
