Virtual presenters, also known as "synthespians," are becoming more popular and could someday take the roles of live presenters. Tmmy, a virtual presenter developed by Kingston Communications, and Lara Croft, a virtual character developed by Electric Sky, have already gained popularity. Although this technology is intriguing, the possiblilty of digitally duplicating deceased persons could charge legal battles, and people in general may not be accepting of digital presenters because they are not real.
