Pitching an idea for a television commission is a difficult task, particularly for indies, and numerous workshops, consultancies and forums have been developed on how to pitch better. Pitching an idea in a matter of minutes is an important skill, and one must be well-prepared to do so. Other tips in pitching for producers, such as sticking to a specialization, are also discussed.

Lime Pictures' exorcism drama "Apparitions" is its first project for BBC1, and the production heads took in Nick Collins and Joe Ahearne to write and direct the show, respectively. The story revolves around a priest who exorcised a possessed man after the man's child approached him. The making of the TV show, particularly its filming process, is discussed.
