A brief profile of some of the recipients of the Broadcast Young Talent Awards for 2005 is presented. Charlotte Bruus-Christensen and Stefan Mark collectively collected the award of Best Young Director. Other recipients include Melissa Brown for Best Young Producer, Robin Fox for Best Young Camera/Lighting Person and Rae Brunton for Best Young Writer.

A survey was conducted for which 300 independent producers, directors were asked to give their choice of T.V programmes, to find out which companies succeeded in this industry and why. Only 130 companies responded and other responses are awaited.
