The digital deadline

The OfcomEs announcement of 31 December 2012 deadline for conversion of all analogue signals into digital format has agitated the TV world. Some side effects of the digital conversion could be reduced regional output, and decrease in current affairs and arts programming. Channels feel the Ofcom deadline would be impossible to meet.
