Touch to make US version of The Human Footprint
Article Abstract:
The Human Footprint, which features the impact of a single human's lifetime consumption on the environment, will have a US version to be made by Touch Productions as a two-hour special to be broadcasted by National Geographic in early 2008. Touch is looking into the possiblity of the film to be a traveling exhibition that can be shown in schools and other venues. Overseas broadcasters also have three options on how they can telecast the show: buy the original UK version; buy the format and have it remade; or make a hybrid by combining original shots with new material.
