Article Abstract:
A survey of UK distributors in 2007 revealed that 53% of companies registered TV drama as a key genre, and 77% are distributing factual entertainment, showing the genre's continuing boom. Entertainment programming is still strong with 67% of companies listing it as a key genre, while 50% of respondents are distributing children's programs. Industry trends are discussed category by category.
