Article Abstract:
The UK government has made plans for an analogue switch-off, expected by the year 2010. Twenty-eight percent of the UK population subscribes to digital services, while digital operators and TV manufacturers keep shelving out more expensive products and services. Although the digital scene is booming, the market will soon show that buying a new TV is not necessary to receive digital services, and inexpensive plug-in adapters will be marketed next year.
