A new horizon in sight
Article Abstract:
The defense minister of France, Italy and the United Kingdom met in Washington and agreed to adopt a joint solution of their navies' future anti-air warfare (AAW) requirements and marked the final demise of the trinational Project Horizon with its associated effort to develop a Common New Generation Frigate (CNGF). The three countries will build on the trinational project work to pursue opportunities for co-operative procurement in equipping these vessels.
