The Luftwaffe under pressure
Article Abstract:
The German Air Force (Luftwaffe) will finally get its EUROFIGHTERs with some delay, but a shade of uncertainty still remains as to whether all of the 180 aircraft that are to be ordered based on current plans will actually come to be regarded by the Government and Parliament as being compatible with the harsh realities of the budget. The Lutwaffe's decisions will not be based upon military requirements but rather depends upon the financial capabilities.
