ASRAD for expeditionary air defence
Article Abstract:
Modern highly mobile, air-transportable weapon systems are essential in order to conduct a number of contingency operations where self-protection and air dominance is required. The German Army that took into service the LeFlaSys based on the Rheinmental Defence Electronics Advanced Short-Range Air Defence (ASRAD) system and STINGER missiles is reviewed.

The emergence of mini UAVs for military applications
Article Abstract:
The successes of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in complex terrains like Afghanistan and Iraq are expected to boost the UAV systems into military force structures. The need for airborne assets closer to the ground will give rise to a requirement for low-altitude tier of UAVs-mini UAVs.
