US department of defense draws up strategy for Black Sea region
Article Abstract:
The countries bordering the Black Sea are covered under the first plan of the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) for developing integrated regional systems for air and sea surveillance, crisis response and border security. The Black Sea region is being considered as a possible channel for weapons of mass destruction, terrorists and drugs and the US is discussing the plan with the countries.

Raytheon moves to pitch LPWS to NATO
