Air Forces in South America
Article Abstract:
A review of the existing structure and main on going or planned procurement/modernization programs in a number of leading South American air forces is provided. It is found that to varying degrees, South American air forces have similar strategic and operational military backgrounds and, hence, similar aircraft and weapons requirements.

Unmanned Combat Air Vehicles: programmes and prospects
Article Abstract:
Unmanned Combat Air Vehicles have the potential to replace manned aircraft in some battle situations. Such aircraft can be smaller, less expensive and more maneuverable than manned aircraft, and provide air attack with no risk to crew.
