Providing quality medical care in the crucible of battle
Article Abstract:
The Army Medical Department (AMEDD) underwent the crucible of battle in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and passed the test with honors as it provided outstanding quality of care and excellent medical treatment to the injured soldiers. The AMEDD soldiers saved not only Americans but also prisoners and innocent civilians and such humanitarian work was a key pillar of US efforts to win Iraqi's hearts and minds and help them build a decent nation.

Army Medical Department promotes the readiness of the force
Article Abstract:
Various activities of the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) such as the research for medical protection, mobilizing the processing, undertaking family care, medical demobilization of the force and rehabilitation of the wounded soldiers, promote the readiness of the force. AMEDD not only plays a key role in keeping soldiers from becoming casualties, but also provides necessary care when a soldier suffers a serious wound, injury or illness.
