Article Abstract:
The 3rd Battalion, 15 Infantry (3-15) soldiers and the rest of the 3rd Division have returned for a second tour in Iraq, with the fight shifted from an all-out assault to the lurking dangers of suicide bombers, snipers and improvised explosive devices. About 30 to 40 percent of Operation Iraqi Freedom's invasion phase's (OIF I) enlisted persons are still assigned to the 3-15 when it returned to Baghdad for the OIF III deployment.

Three Gunners
Article Abstract:
Gunners hold the most important positions in a convoy, as they are the only crewmembers that can see all around the vehicle and hence help the driver navigate and give the vehicle commander information to make decisions. Three female US Army Reserve soldiers serving as Humvee gunners speak on their experience at Forward Opening Base Falcom, where they had spent their Iraqi deployment.
