COBRA
Article Abstract:
The long-range COunter Battery RAdar (COBRA) will provide armies with the capability to locate and classify hostile rockets, guns and mortars accurately and at long range acting as a force detector. The trilateral COBRA programme is being managed by OCCAR-COBRA Programme Division (CPD), which will be responsible for overall management of the Post Design Services.

The geospatial or digital terrain data, which is essential for the army to function effectively on the battlefield, gives a clear picture of the terrain and help the leaders to plan operations. Army goespatial data enhancement examples are provided to show the way in which service-level terrain data can contribute to the warfighter.
