Chuggin' Along Today's tank modernization programs give glimpse of the elusive future combat vehicle
Article Abstract:
The US Army is relying on leap-ahead technologies which could have potentials for the development of the Future Combat Vehicle (FCV). In the development of the FCVM, the Army is trying to determine if it will build a revolutionary main battle tank or proceed in an evolutionary process. The most important feature in the development of the FCV is digitalization. In digitalization, tank fleets, crew of Bradley Fighting Vehicles and pilots of Comanche helicopters will have a unified view of operations in their areas of activities.

All Charged up "last-mile solution" bridges next-generation internet
Article Abstract:
Media Fusion Corporation L.L.C. is developing a communications system which would use the electrical power grid to transmit voice, video and Internet data to any place in the US connected to the grid. The system will use the electrical grid as a signal conveyer and all telecommunications data will be transmitted as fast as an electric current. The system will significantly lower the costs of installing telecommunications infrastructure and would transform business and military communications networks.
