Col Franklin B. Nihart, USMC (Ret) is selected as the 10th member of the Marine Corps Gazette Fifty Year Club. He is the founder of the 1978 Marine Corps Historical Foundation and an active participant in numerous historical and professional associations including the Marine Corps Association, and a regular contributor to the Marine Corps Gazette throughout his distinguished career in the U.S. Marine Corps.

TBS reunion; the bond from TBS is strong, and reunions are well worth the effort

Marine Corp graduates of The Basic School frequently gather for reunions at the school. Generally the renuions begin after a 30-year period, and continue as the participants wish. The story of one company's reunion is presented.
