Balancing PME and training
Article Abstract:
The Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS) offers the optimal resident professional military education (PME) for both the aviation and ground sides of the US Marine air-ground task force (MAGTF) because it represents equilibrium between training and education (T&E). Nonresident PME ground officers should have military occupational specialties (MOS) sustainment training to achieve more balance in their T&E continuum, and such training should not come at the expense of the Corps' sole remaining resident PME for captains.
