Article Abstract:
A battalion commander of Task Force 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines (TF3/4), in Baghdad, describes how his team succeeded in their mission to destroy the remaining offensive capabilities of the Republican Guard's Baghdad Infantry Division. He feels that an exquisite preparation of the mind and body that produced a will to fight, a will to win and performing simple ordinary actions under extraordinary conditions were the reason behind the success.
