Containment of the army depends on continuing logistics transformation
Article Abstract:
The three goals guiding the logistics transformation are reducing the logistics footprint in the battlespace, enhancing strategic mobility and deployment reducing the cost of logistics without affecting warfighting capability or readiness. Gen. Erik K. Shinseki, Army Chief of Staff, stated that without the transformation in logistics there would be no transformation in the Army.
