US soldiers: Ambassadors of democracy
Article Abstract:
Kenneth O. Preston, during his one-and-a-half years' service as sergeant major of the Army, has traveled the world to meet and talk to soldiers and their families. He is inspired by the amazing work done by the American soldiers around the globe and is convinced that these soldiers continue to be ambassadors of democracy and are the 21st century's first generation of heroes making an impact that would be felt for may years to come.

The past experiences of Gen. Frederick J. Kroesen, United States (U.S.) Army who retired during the V-E Ceremony, which was held at the World War II Memorial on May 8, 2005, are presented. He covered the incidences of the World War II and praised the leaders like Roosevelt, Churchill and Eisenhower.
