Article Abstract:
The war between Hizbullah and Israel has fundamentally changed the dynamics along the Blue Line, the UN name for Lebanon's southern border. Hizbullah's top commanders are examining the consequences of the war with Israel and planning a new military strategy for their continued military relevance but the movement of the Lebanese army and more UN forces into south Lebanon will raise renewed questions over the necessity of Hizbullah retaining its military wing.
