Article Abstract:
The global war on terrorism is strengthening the US and Indian ties and the two countries are sharing sensitive information regarding activities at terrorist bases and training camps in southern Asia, especially in Bangladesh and Nepal. The perspectives of both the countries' leaders on mutual cooperation in economic, political, defense, science and technology areas are unaffected by the change in the government in India and they are cooperating on efforts to prevent cross border terrorism from Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan.

Understanding Pakistan's nuclear doctrine
Article Abstract:
Pakistan should identify its security threat parameters, within the overall regional and global security frameworks that prevail in order to evolve a viable nuclear doctrine. The nuclear deterrence requires the avoidance of conflict and the prevalence of common interests between India and Pakistan and within the context of South Asia it is not technology denial that will address the issue of nuclear stability, but political will.
