Evolution of ANGLICO: A renewed existence, capability, and accomplishment
Article Abstract:
The evolution of the active duty air/naval gunfire liaison companies (ANGLICOs) since reactivation in 2003 and their accomplishments during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) are discussed. The distinct capabilities of this high-demand/low-density asset enable the ANGLICOs to be highly flexible force multipliers that would facilitate the Marine Corps to make effective use of them.
