Fokker 60 MPA begins Caribbean operations
Article Abstract:
Two newly converted Fokker 60 Maritime Patrol Aircrafts (MPAs) are deployed by the Netherlands to the Caribbean in March 2005 for search-and-rescue (SAR) and counter drugs operations in support of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba Coast Guard (NAACG) and the U.S. led Combined Task Group 4.4. The two aircrafts would operate for two years and after which the NAACG air surveillance mission would be taken over by a yet-to-be-selected commercial contractor.

A400M: the airlifter that waits in the wings
Article Abstract:
A team of U.S. and European aircraft companies have been developing the A400M that was designed to replace the Boeing C-17 Globemaster military aircraft. Though in development for at least 20 years, the massive aircraft is not scheduled to beginning flight until 2008.
