Article Abstract:
The Marine air-ground task force aviation and and Marine air command and control (MACCS) will transform into a modern, highly mobile, flexible and scalable capability to address the challenges posed by Operational Maneuver from the Sea (OMFTS) in the new millennium. The ultimate objective for the MACCS in OMFTS is to provide the flexibility and responsiveness to deal with uncertainty while producing the overpowering operational tempo required to win.

Corps plans Capable Warrior
Article Abstract:
The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory has started planning for an experiment involving the Capable Warrior advanced warfighting machine. The experiment aims to develop a sea-air-ground force maneuvering from ships located 25 to 40 miles offshore to a target of no less than 100 miles inland. The Corps has identified 10 critical areas for possible experimentation.
