HF2000: The future of HF communications: A managed HF network for Sweden
Article Abstract:
The developments and technological advancements in the automated high frequency (HF) networks offer a highly flexible, capable and user-friendly solution to the communication requirements of many armed forces. The Swedish Defense Material Administration and Marconi Selenia's partnership approach has overcome the technical and operational requirements to develop HF 2000, which is a uniquely capable solution to the Swedish Armed Forces' strategic communications requirements for the new network centric age.
