Hampton roads extends weeklong salute to USS Mason
Article Abstract:
The Hampton Roads, Virginia, Council presented a unique community involvement program in February 2004 with a weeklong salute to the World War II escort ship USS Mason. The council welcomed crewmembers to highlight the events, held at Nauticus, the National Maritime Center in Norfolk and offered preview screenings of the film eProudE based on the Mason and its crew.
