Insensitive munitions make the military less accident-prone
Article Abstract:
The policy makers from Western Europe and the US are placing great pressure on defence forces to use safer or 'insensitive' munitions (IM) to inhibit their inadvertent detonation. Two new IM plants are being opened in Europe at the same time and emerging threats are forcing the adoption of revised insensitivity assessments.

Polish live-firing debut for Rafael's Spike-LR
Article Abstract:
The Polish land forces for the first time conducted a live firing under real operational conditions with the Rafael-developed Spike-LR Dual anti-tank guided missile. The missile, fired and guided by an instructor, penetrated the bottom right part of the T-72 main battle tank.
