KEDO's demise could exacerbate North Korean nuclear crisis
Article Abstract:
The dissolution of the Korean Peninsula Energy Development Organization (KEDO) could further isolate North Korea from the international community and make defusing the country's nuclear ambitions more difficult in 2006. The dissolution might prove to be a significant setback to broader multinational efforts to address looming and potentially dangerous disputes over energy resources in the world's fastest growing economic region.
