US proceeds with Small Diameter Bomb
Article Abstract:
Boeing Phantom Works and Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control have been chosen by the US Air Force to competitively develop the Small Diameter Bomb. The program is aimed to allow a variety of aircraft to drop a lighter class of bombs using smart-weapon technology.
