New naval combat systems joint venture for ET
Article Abstract:
EADS Deutschland and Thales Nederland BV, formerly Thomson-CSF Signaal, have formed a new combat system joint venture. The 50-50 owned public limited company, to be known as ET Marinesysteme GmbH, was registered in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, on Feb 6, 2001. The new company aims to consolidate and enhance the existing activities related to the common programs of the German and Netherland navies, and to fully utilize this potential for new projects and export activities.
