Northrop Grumman, Wartsila to team on new marine diesels

Northrop Grumman Marine Systems has teamed up with Wartsila NSD North America Inc (WNSNA) to offer diesel marine engines to the US Navy and the US Coast Guard. The agreement calls for WNSNA to provide the engine designs and manufacturing technology, while Northrop Grumman will handle the marketing, program management, manufacturing, and logistics support. The deal aims to respond to the needs of the Navy and the Coast Guard with a modern and cost-effective medium- and slow-speed diesel engines.

The great Pohang guerrilla hunt; the 1st Marine Dvision in Korea, December 1950-February 1951
Article Abstract:
The 1st Marine Regiment boarded a ship, in December 1950, leaving Korea's Chosin Reservoir, and heading for Pusan. There had been many casualities at the reservoir area, and a short rebuilding process was spent hunting North Korean guerrilla troops in the area.
