Norwegian Navy to build specialized expeditionary coastal force
Article Abstract:
The Royal Norwegian Navy is developing plans to turn its Coastal Flotilla into the core of a highly specialized expeditionary task with security access to coastal areas in order to facilitate the entry of follow-on forces during multinational crisis response operations. Commander Naval Forces Norway and Commander Coastal Flotilla laid out the plans during the Scandic Event Forum-run eLittoral to ExpeditionaryE naval conference.
