Organization and operational force structure
Article Abstract:
The Commander-in-chief Fleet (CINCNAV) instituted a new command structure in order to ensure effective training and readiness for war of the Naval Air Arm, placing all operational specialist unit, the communication arm and training schools under his command. These moves have resulted in centralizing all operational command, training, readiness inspection and naval aviation preparedness under CINCNAV.
