Sea basing: more than the sum of its parts?
Article Abstract:
Sea Basing is a part of the three pillars of the US Navy's (USN's) Sea Power 21 which charted a new global concept specifying various strike forces and groups helping the USN / US Marine Corps (USMC) to make sure that US joint forces survive the battlespace in the 21st century. However, if US increases its sea basing ability to a great extent then the other countries might get concerned about its ability to fight and win the same without the help of any other international community.
