Article Abstract:
Admiral Ryszard Lukasik, Commander of the Polish Navy, said the service's integration with NATO has been fully and successfully achieved. Lukasik said he wished that the Polish Navy could operate its ships for as long as 220 days on sea, according to NATO standards, but this goal is being hampered by budgetary constraints. Lukasik added that the PERRY-class frigage that the Polish Navy would be receiving from the US Navy would constitute the pattern for its modernization.
