The increase in the frequency of close quarter battles being fought by coalition forces has brought to the forefront of tactical thinking the importance of effective and accurate firearms, requiring a small mobile weapon system capable of delivering a one-shot, one-kill ratio, thus swiftly ending a contact. The armies have to modify their existing systems with versatile variants that can be constantly upgraded.
