The Army: a critical member of the joint team serving the nation at war
Article Abstract:
Combatant commanders with trained and ready ground forces are provided by the Army and being employed with other members of the joint team, a dominant edge is maintained by providing America with agile, versatile and strategically responsive forces. The Army is a critical part of the joint team and it is suggested that the systems must be adaptable by design and fully networked with the joint partners to facilitate expansion of options.

Article Abstract:
The war on terror continues to place a significant burden on the US military, and the Army is bearing the brunt of it. US Central Command (USCENT-COM) in particular remains deeply engaged in shaping and prosecuting combat operations across its area of responsibility (AOR), a geographic region of significant ethnic and religious diversity and strife.
