Admiral Fernando Codina Diaz, the new Commander-in-Chief of the Chilean Navy, has given his views on the current status and the challenges faced by the Chilean Navy. He has described his plans to incorporate the units that will replace a large part of the combat vessels of the Surface Squadron and two submarines Type SCORPENE and also the modernizing process of the Chilean Navy.
