The fortress revisited
Article Abstract:
Taiwan's military forces are geared towards the acquisition of an effective air defence that includes Anti-Tactical Ballistic Missile systems, naval control and anti-invasion capabilities. The enhancement of air defences was made possible by the deployment of Patriot PAC-2 anti-missile batteries and current developments of TIEN KUNG 2 surface to air missiles. Naval warfare units are boosted by the construction of new Perry class destroyers and the commissioning of new surface warships and submarines.
