Article Abstract:
The Commandant in August 2003 challenged Marine aviation to reduce the number of mishaps and accident rates by atleast 50 percent in the next two years. The following fiscal year (FY), FY04, Marine aviation and 4th Marine Aircraft Wing (4th MAW) has its worst mishap rate since 1990.
