The return of William Tell
Article Abstract:
The United States Air Force's (USAF's) top air-to-air competition, named after the legendary Swiss archer William Tell, showcased the F-15 in air dominance and air sovereignty mission. The USAF premier air-to-air weapons meet that ran from November 8 through November 19, 2004 also featured competition in weapons loading, maintenance and weapons direction.

Defense officials have briefed Congressional staffers regarding a new Defense Science Board report on USAF's tanker fleet and plans to replace the old KC-135 tankers. The House Committee panel allocated 15 million dollars for advance procurement of new KC-767 tankers.
