Article Abstract:
The Gdansk Division of PIT is involved in the main current research activities, which is related to active antenna arrays in C-bond. This division is experienced in the development and manufacturing of ELINT systems, and the products range include the MUR-20 system for land forces, designed for acquisition and in-depth analysis of R-F signals as well as electronic reconnaissance containers for the Navy, with capabilities of integration of information from radar, radio communication and infrared recognition subsystems.

Charting a new course in naval systems technology
Article Abstract:
Hughes Naval and Maritime Systems (NAMS) pres Joseph M Pennisi discussed in an interview the challenges and opportunities which his firm must consider the global market. Pennisi said it was important to meet the requirements of their customers objectively, completely and responsibly. Pennisi also said that NAMS was not only a technology provider but offers a 'total solutions' approach for their customers' needs in order to differentiate itself from its competitors.
